Austria +490 | France -180 | Draw +330<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The most successful team in world football across the last decade, France, will aim to show they\u2019re not quite done yet at the top level with a positive group stage start against a tricky Austrian side on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Austria is a team who many people have predicted to finish second in this group after an extremely positive qualification campaign saw them finish runners-up behind Belgium, with a competitive 3-2 shootout loss against the Belgians being their only blemish during qualifying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Austrians are unbeaten in seven straight since that game as well, scoring multiple goals in all but two of their last nine international matches also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite beating France in just one of their last ten head-to-head meetings against them, Austria may never find a better time in which to rectify that, with a virus currently sweeping through the French ranks that has affected both the manager and talisman forward Kylian Mbappe also who were both kept out of training duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whatever the case may be about some of the French players’ status ahead of this game, it\u2019s nonetheless a concern, even for a team as fundamentally loaded as France are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n France beat Austria 2-0 the last time these two nations met back in September 2022 in the Nations League, but we don\u2019t see that happening again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n All of the previous three head-to-heads prior to that meeting finished with both teams finding the back of the net, and given the current form of both teams heading into this one, we believe there\u2019s a high probability of that happening once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\nEuro 2024 Prediction: Both Teams to Score – Yes (-120)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
