Let&#8217;s dive in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Best NRFI Bets Today &#8211; Free NRFI Picks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NRFI Prediction 1: Oakland Athletics at New York Yankees (-120)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yankees and Athletics continue their series today in the Bronx and were going right back to the well here. New York, despite the names at the top of its lineup, has been one of the worst first-inning teams in the MLB. New York averages just .26 runs per first inning. The Yankees will face right Paul Blackburn who is the A&#8217;s best starter. The Yankees lineup has done well against Blackburn in the past, but given New York&#8217;s run-scoring woes, especially early in games, we expect the Yankees to be retired without scoring in the first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Athletics have a weak top of the batting order, and we do not expect them to play well to start today&#8217;s game. Oakland is scoring .35 runs per first inning, and today, they face right Marcus Stroman. The current A&#8217;s lineup has not seen much of Stroman, so there is not a lot of data to use. However, in a limited sample, the A&#8217;s have a .222 xwOBA against Stroman.
