Bauers has just one home run this year off a right-handed pitcher, but he had 12 last season, and this is as good a matchup for him as any matchup he has had. In 10 career at-bats against Kyle Gibson, Bauers is 4-10 with two doubles. He has a 96.5 exit velocity in those at-bats, and his average launch angle is 25.6 degrees. Bauers hits Gibson hard, and he hits the ball in the air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle Gibson has allowed four home runs already this season, and three of them have come off of lefties. He has a 2.89 HR\/9 against left-handed batters and a 41.4% fly-ball rate.
