Lynn is also in the 81st percentile for K rate, so his ability to get strikeouts makes him a good starter to target for a NRFI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Athletics are 76.47% to the NRFI this season, averaging .41 first-inning runs per game. JP Sears takes the mound for the A&#8217;s, and he is 3-0 to the NRFI. New York averages just .31 runs per first inning a game. We expect them to get betting in the first inning as the season progresses, but not today against Jared Jones, who has been electric to start off his MLB career. Jones is inducing whiffs, chases, and strikeouts, placing him in the 90th percentile or higher in all three metrics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pittsburgh is averaging .29 runs in the first inning, and today, they take on Jose Quintana, who has a .305 xwOBA against this Pirates lineup.
