J.P. Crawford is off to a very slow start this season, batting just .118 against right-handed pitching. However, two of his hits against righties are home runs, and he’s facing a pitcher who allows a lot of home runs to lefties, so there is value in betting on Crawford as one of the best home run prop bets today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Bassitt allowed 21 home runs to left-handed batters last season, and he’s already allowed two this year. Crawford has faced Bassitt 28 times in his career and has yet to go yard, but his launch angle on his outs is 23.7 degrees, so he has the capability of putting the ball in the air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last season, Bassitt allowed most of his home runs on sinkers, and Crawford finished last year with a run value of six against the sinker.
