In 18 career plate appearances against Wacha, Santander has an average exit velocity of 85.9 MPH and an average launch angle of 22.4 degrees. Wacha allowed 15 home runs last season, and he's making his first appearance of 2024. We like Santander to welcome Wacha to the new year with a blast. Santander already has two home runs on the young season, so he is clearly seeing the ball well and making solid contact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
Juan Soto (NYY) +390<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nJuan Soto has had as good of a start with a new team as you could ask for, and we expect it to continue tonight in Arizona. Soto is 3\/14 in his career off Ryne Nelson, and two of those hits were home runs. Soto is familiar with Nelson from his time in San Diego, so he has experience against this pitcher. Nelson let up nine home runs to left-handed batters last season, and he allowed a higher average to lefties as well. Soto hit his first home run as a Yankee in Houston, and he has a great chance to add a second one tonight in Arizona. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
