Kevin Durant is headed back to where it all started, and the last time he was in Oklahoma City, he dropped 34 points on them last season. This Thunder team is one of the best in the NBA, but Kevin Durant is one of the best scorers in the NBA. He has cleared this number in 68% of games this season. He has only gone over in five of his last ten, but that\u2019s where the narrative comes into play. Durant, one of the best scorers in NBA history, undoubtedly would like to put on a show in front of the team that drafted him in what should be a highly competitive game. This number is too low, per our projections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scoot Henderson (POR) Under 19.5 Points
Projecting: 16.5 Points<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scoot Henderson\u2019s NBA career is not off to a flying start. He\u2019s a guard shooting 38% from the field and 29.9% from deep. Henderson has cleared this number in only 15% of games this season, two of his last ten, and 4% of road games. Over their last seven games, Miami has only allowed 20.19 points per game to point guards, which is the 6th best in the NBA. Outside of Miami blowing out the Blazers and Henderson, who averages 27 minutes per game on the road, playing a majority of garbage time, our projections show a lot of value on the under.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul George (LAC) Over 21.5 Points<\/strong>
Projecting: 23 Points<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul George has cleared this number in 61% of games this season, and despite having a tough matchup tonight, we expect him to go over this low number. He’s gone over this number in nine of his last ten games, and he is averaging four three points made on eight attempts over that stretch. The Clippers have been off, and the Magic have one of the best defenses in the NBA, but this number is too low for a scorer of George’s caliber. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Projecting: 16.5 Points<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Porter has cleared this number in 53% of games this season, but this is a tough matchup for him. In his last two home games against the T-Wolves, Porter Jr. fell short of this number. The Wolves are the No. 1 scoring defense in the NBA, and Porter’s usage rate stats vary big time from night to night. In what should be a competitive game, Porter should not be getting the ball down the stretch, and we are projecting him to go under this number tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
