March 21 9:30 PM ET<br>Practice 2 &#8211; March 22 1:00 AM ET<br>Practice 3 &#8211; March 22 9:30 PM ET<br>Qualifying &#8211; March 23 1:00 AM ET<br>Race &#8211; March 24 12:01 AM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Takeaways from Last F1 Race<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It looks like Carlos Sainz will be good to go at 100% after missing the last race with appendicitis so expect a full effort from Ferrari, and for one or both of them to be on the podium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Red Bull should be 1-2, but if one of them falters the Ferrari should be behind them allowing them to slip into double podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Australian Grand Prix Track: Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a fairly tight track with not a lot of room as some of the gravel pits are right near the track as are some of the walls and safety barriers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The start of this race is interesting because pole position has the outside position going into turn one so if the outside line doesn\u2019t get a great start, the inside line can gain positions, but if the outside gets a good start they have a huge advantage with speed and momentum going into the first turn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year we saw plenty of chaos with cars running off track, spins, and punctures, and there is the potential for that with the tight track and close racing so the middle of the pack could be very exciting at the start and in the middle of the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Australian Grand Prix Predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Red Bulls showed incredible race pace here last year, and I don\u2019t see why that would change this year. Max is -550 to win, but <strong>I might look at Red Bull double podium at -200<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perez has the second-best car in the field, and he\u2019s finished 2nd in both races this year, I see a lot of double podiums for Red Bull. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve had a record number of cars finish the first two races of the season, and I think there\u2019s the potential for carnage at this race, especially off the start so <strong>I think under 17.5 classified cars at +135 is worth a look<\/strong>. Last year only 12 cars finished this race, but this bet had cashed by lap 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope to get some good numbers on the Haas drivers over Alpine and Williams in qualifying and in the race. They will be juiced, but parlays work just fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Magnussen had several penalties last week and was still able to finish ahead of them because he stayed on the lead lap, and the Alpines and Williams did not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s clear that Williams and Alpine are struggling mightily, and last week Magnussen slowed the Williams and Alpines down so his teammate could pit and stay ahead of everyone, but once that strategy was over and Magnussen could go full speed he was way faster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m hoping the books don\u2019t notice that, and they give us good lines on the Haas cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ferrari Double Top 10\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferrari seems to feel confident that Sainz will be fine for this weekend, and I trust them.\u00a0Sainz looked great before he had to step away, and even Oliver Bearman had a solid\u00a0result in the Ferrari so we know the car is one of the best in the field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sainz has lots of\u00a0motivation this year as he knows he is out at the end of the season so he\u2019s one of the\u00a0 most motivated drivers in the field to have strong showings. Max is -550 to win, but <strong>I might look at Red Bull double podium at -200<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Perez has the second-best car in the field, and he\u2019s finished 2nd in both races this year, I see a lot of double podiums for Red Bull. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve had a record number of cars finish the first two races of the season, and I think there\u2019s the potential for carnage at this race, especially off the start so <strong>I think under 17.5 classified cars at +135 is worth a look<\/strong>. Last year only 12 cars finished this race, but this bet had cashed by lap 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>I hope to get some good numbers on the Haas drivers over Alpine and Williams in qualifying and in the race. They will be juiced, but parlays work just fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Magnussen had several penalties last week and was still able to finish ahead of them because he stayed on the lead lap, and the Alpines and Williams did not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s clear that Williams and Alpine are struggling mightily, and last week Magnussen slowed the Williams and Alpines down so his teammate could pit and stay ahead of everyone, but once that strategy was over and Magnussen could go full speed he was way faster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m hoping the books don\u2019t notice that, and they give us good lines on the Haas cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ferrari Double Top 10\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Ferrari seems to feel confident that Sainz will be fine for this weekend, and I trust them.\u00a0Sainz looked great before he had to step away, and even Oliver Bearman had a solid\u00a0result in the Ferrari so we know the car is one of the best in the field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Sainz has lots of\u00a0motivation this year as he knows he is out at the end of the season so he\u2019s one of the\u00a0 most motivated drivers in the field to have strong showings.
