Real Betis finally snapped their protracted nine-game winless run away from home two weeks ago as they managed to navigate a 1-0 road win against Mallorca.<\/p>\n

Mallorca created the better overall chances in that game, but were unable to capitalize, which ensured Real Betis secured a first win away from home since their opening game of the season against Villarreal.<\/p>\n

However, that recent win certainly doesn\u2019t gloss over the fact that Betis own the league\u2019s 6th worst expected points tally away from home this year, and they\u2019ll likely need to sharpen up against a Cadiz team that while poor, have been under-rated in terms of home form this year.<\/p>\n

While Cadiz currently sits inside the relegation zone with no wins in the league going all the way back to September, they have nevertheless been much tougher to beat at home this season, with over 70% of all their points accumulated coming inside the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.<\/p>\n

That recent tenacity at home extended to a 0-0 draw against Betis in this venue last October also, followed by two more positive results for Cadiz in this series across 2023 as well, netting an outright win and a draw against Betis over their last two head-to-head\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Overall, that fortunate road win against Mallorca last time out does little to paper over the cracks of what\u2019s been a disappointing road campaign for Betis this year, and we\u2019re happy to back the outright draw on Friday between Real Betis and Cadiz.<\/p>\n

Top two league clash on Saturday as 1st placed Real Madrid take on 2nd placed Girona over at the Bernabeu this weekend.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid\u2019s impressive six-game winning run in the league finally came to a halt last weekend against capital rivals Atletico Madrid in the historic \u2018El Derbi Madrileno\u2019.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid almost made it seven wins from seven as they took an early 1-0 lead in that game through the efforts of Brahim Diaz, before Atletico\u2019s Marcos Llorente got his head onto a late equalizer deep into injury time to claim a share of the spoils for Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n

Girona meanwhile has been starting to falter in the league of late, registering just three wins across their last six league games in all after what was a blistering start to their 2023-24 campaign.<\/p>\n

Last weekend\u2019s draw against Real Sociedad was perhaps even more concerning due to the fact that Real Sociedad had a huge cup game on deck for early in the midweek, plus the fact Girona created a paltry 0.40 xG in that game as well, as their over-inflated season-long numbers may finally be starting to catch up to them.<\/p>\n

Girona have actually taken points off Real Madrid in both of their recent meetings at this venue, but we don\u2019t envision that extending to a third time here, and like Real Madrid to get the win and cover at home on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Two teams flirting dangerously close to the relegation zone meet on Sunday as Rayo Vallecano travel to the Balearic Islands to take on Mallorca at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix this weekend.<\/p>\n

Mallorca has been a tough team to beat on home soil this season, losing just twice in the league all year, and securing draws against Barcelona and a win against 2nd placed Girona in the cup along the way.<\/p>\n

However, their recent form as a whole has not been good, having gone winless now in five straight league matches and sitting just one spot above the drop zone in 17th.<\/p>\n

Rayo Vallecano by comparison have a little more breathing room up in 13th, but with only four points separating themselves from Mallorca in the table, a single loss here could overturn that margin and they\u2019d get sucked into the relegation dogfight as a result.<\/p>\n

Overall, the meetings between these two sides in Mallorca have tended to see both teams find the back of the net, with the Both Teams to Score prop cashing in three of their last five meetings here, as well as the Over 2.5 goals cashing in three of the last four meetings also.<\/p>\n
