When I say amateurs, I mean rich VP\u2019s of companies and a couple celebrities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing says growing the game like watching the Director of Operations of GEIKO play along side Brendon Todd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019ll play two rounds, one at each course, and mercifully throw the amateurs out for the weekend so the 80 golfers can duke it out. The last three months he\u2019s -0.43 tee to green, and while his putting has been good, it hasn\u2019t been enough to save his finishes. He won last year, but was 62nd the year before that so I don\u2019t expect a repeat performance from the defending Champ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scottie Scheffler<\/strong> &#8211; He\u2019s finished 5th and 17th this season, and that\u2019s just not good enough when you\u2019re the betting favorite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s strange that he\u2019s never played here, but I think it\u2019s a real disadvantage to not know these greens as good as the other guys, and while his tee to green numbers are all-time good, these courses are short and the fairways are wide so I think it limits his advantage. I won\u2019t be betting on him this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pebble Beach Pro-Am: DraftKings Darlings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kevin Yu $7200<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Really surprised to see him at this price this week, but I\u2019ll gladly start my lineup with him. He\u2019s finished 6th and 3rd the last two weeks, and he finished 7th here last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beau Hossler $7800<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was 6th last week, and he\u2019s been really good here finishing 11th and 3rd the last two years here. His putting the last three months is +1.33, and if he putts even close to that this week he\u2019ll have a strong finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JT Poston $7900<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll go back to my guy Poston who took last week off, but finished 11th, 6th and 5th the three previous weeks. He hasn\u2019t played here in a while, but over the last 6 months he\u2019s 9th best in this field in total strokes gained. When I say amateurs, I mean rich VP\u2019s of companies and a couple celebrities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing says growing the game like watching the Director of Operations of GEIKO play along side Brendon Todd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019ll play two rounds, one at each course, and mercifully throw the amateurs out for the weekend so the 80 golfers can duke it out. It\u2019s an elevated event with a big purse so expect the bigger names to actually care about this tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Weather&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>This week could be difficult for players as the temperatures won\u2019t get into the 60s and\u00a0 there will be some showers at points on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<iframe src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Mjx9kuGp5is?origin=https:\/\/www.wagertalk.com'><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pebble Beach Pro-Am Course: Torrey Pines Golf Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Spyglass is a pretty short course with five Par 4s around 410 yards or shorter, and four Par 5s. The last three months he\u2019s -0.43 tee to green, and while his putting has been good, it hasn\u2019t been enough to save his finishes. He won last year, but was 62nd the year before that so I don\u2019t expect a repeat performance from the defending Champ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scottie Scheffler<\/strong> - He\u2019s finished 5th and 17th this season, and that\u2019s just not good enough when you\u2019re the betting favorite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s strange that he\u2019s never played here, but I think it\u2019s a real disadvantage to not know these greens as good as the other guys, and while his tee to green numbers are all-time good, these courses are short and the fairways are wide so I think it limits his advantage. I won\u2019t be betting on him this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pebble Beach Pro-Am: DraftKings Darlings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kevin Yu $7200<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Really surprised to see him at this price this week, but I\u2019ll gladly start my lineup with him. He\u2019s finished 6th and 3rd the last two weeks, and he finished 7th here last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beau Hossler $7800<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>He was 6th last week, and he\u2019s been really good here finishing 11th and 3rd the last two years here. His putting the last three months is +1.33, and if he putts even close to that this week he\u2019ll have a strong finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JT Poston $7900<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll go back to my guy Poston who took last week off, but finished 11th, 6th and 5th the three previous weeks. He hasn\u2019t played here in a while, but over the last 6 months he\u2019s 9th best in this field in total strokes gained.
