As I tweeted out, the best play I saw this weekend was when Jordan Love quickly back peddled before his TD pass that put the Packers up 20-0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He showed outstanding awareness of the upcoming blitz, giving him just enough space to get the pass off. That\u2019s a subtle indication of how far Love has progressed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several offensive and defensive players returned from injury, giving the Packers some options. Yes, the game was decided early in the 3rd quarter, but it\u2019s not unreasonable to think that Joe Barry\u2019s defense is going to be challenged by a near elite San Francisco offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">49ers Strengths and Weaknesses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As with Baltimore, SF earned the #1 seed. QB Purdy (69.4%, 31 TD passes, excellent yards-per-completion) put him in the MVP discussion, while RB McCaffrey (5.4 per carry, over 2,000 rush\/receiving yards, 21 TD\u2019s) was amazing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with WR Aiyuk, WR Samuel, and a healthy TE George Kittle, the 49ers have four players with 60 or more receptions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The defense intercepted 22 passes and allowed just 3,949 passing yards on 410 completions. SF\u2019s defense remained adept at stopping the run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most visible area of concern remains the pass D%, as it has been for a few years.&nbsp;SF allowed 66% of opposing QB pass attempts to be completed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Green Bay Packers vs San Francisco 49ers Prediction: The PICK <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s advantage SF when the 49ers are on offense, as the Packers do not possess the ability to fully shut down the run or the pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What this means is that the 49ers will be able to run their regular offense, and it will be difficult for Green Bay to key on any one person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conversely, the 49ers could have their hands full stopping Love and the passing game. As I tweeted out, the best play I saw this weekend was when Jordan Love quickly back peddled before his TD pass that put the Packers up 20-0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>He showed outstanding awareness of the upcoming blitz, giving him just enough space to get the pass off. That\u2019s a subtle indication of how far Love has progressed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Several offensive and defensive players returned from injury, giving the Packers some options. Yes, the game was decided early in the 3rd quarter, but it\u2019s not unreasonable to think that Joe Barry\u2019s defense is going to be challenged by a near elite San Francisco offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">49ers Strengths and Weaknesses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>As with Baltimore, SF earned the #1 seed. QB Purdy (69.4%, 31 TD passes, excellent yards-per-completion) put him in the MVP discussion, while RB McCaffrey (5.4 per carry, over 2,000 rush\/receiving yards, 21 TD\u2019s) was amazing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Along with WR Aiyuk, WR Samuel, and a healthy TE George Kittle, the 49ers have four players with 60 or more receptions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The defense intercepted 22 passes and allowed just 3,949 passing yards on 410 completions. SF\u2019s defense remained adept at stopping the run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The most visible area of concern remains the pass D%, as it has been for a few years.&nbsp;SF allowed 66% of opposing QB pass attempts to be completed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Green Bay Packers vs San Francisco 49ers Prediction: The PICK <\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s advantage SF when the 49ers are on offense, as the Packers do not possess the ability to fully shut down the run or the pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>What this means is that the 49ers will be able to run their regular offense, and it will be difficult for Green Bay to key on any one person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Conversely, the 49ers could have their hands full stopping Love and the passing game.
