The Pacers are now 15-25 after snapping a six game losing streak with an impressive 125-113 home victory over the Utah Jazz. Meanwhile the Celtics improved to 19-21 after beating the New York Knicks 99-75 on Saturday night. This will be the first of two consecutive meetings between these teams, as they will play again in Indiana on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n Boston Bounce Back<\/h3>\nOn Thursday night the Boston Celtics blew a 16 point halftime lead and ultimately lost 108-105 against the Knicks in New York. Head coach Ime Udoka called his team out, saying they lacked focus and leadership. The Celts had a chance to right any wrongs against the same Knicks team on Saturday night in Boston. The team responded with a commanding 99-75 victory where they never took their foot off the gas.<\/p>\n Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with his first career triple double, putting up 22 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. This was Boston’s best defensive effort of the season, as they allowed a season low 75 points while holding the Pacers to only 20 points in 3 quarters. The Celtics have the 19th ranked scoring offense with 107.6 points a game and the 9th ranked defense that allows 106.1 points a game to their rivals.<\/p>\n Pacers Offense Clicks<\/h3>\nDomantas Sabonis dominated the game against the Utah Jazz on Saturday night with a career high 42 points on 18 of 22 shooting including 6 rebounds. The Pacers snapped a 6 game losing streak with one of their best offensive performances of the season. They shot 55% from the field and collected 30 assists. They were without Caris LeVert, Torrey Craig, Justin Anderson, Goga Bitadze and Isaiah Jackson who are all in health and safety protocol.<\/p>\n Malcolm Brogdon cleared protocols, but is still recovering from an achilles tendon injury. This will be the case on Monday night as the above list remains out with Brogdon being questionable. The Pacers score and allow 108 points a game, ranking them slightly below average at 16th and 17th respectively.<\/p>\n Boston Celtics vs Indiana Pacers Prediction<\/h3>\nThe Boston Celtics come into this game as 6.5 point favorites with a total of 215.5. Both teams are middle of the pack against the spread and in over unders. However, the Pacers have been woeful on the road the season, winning only 3 of 18 games. The Celtics have had their number recently going 6-2-2 against the spread in their last 10 head-to-head games.<\/p>\n The Pacers are missing a boatload of players while the Celtics are at full strength. Indiana will have to rely solely on Sabonis unless Brogdon happens to return, while Boston has two superstars in Brown and Tatum.
