Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Matt Chapman UNDER<\/em> 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-145)<\/h2>\n

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Matt Chapman is only hitting .244 on the season with 15 home runs and 51 RBI across 541 plate appearances.<\/p>\n

Chapman has really struggled recently with a .143 (3-21) September batting average with no home runs and only one RBI. He has now fallen short of recording 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in a staggering 17 of his last 21 games.<\/p>\n

New York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole is the front-runner for American League Cy Young with a 13-4 record, 2.81 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 208 strikeouts across 192 innings pitched.<\/p>\n

Cole has absolutely dominated the Blue Jays this season with a combined 11.2 scoreless innings of work in two outings.<\/p>\n

Chapman is a combined 1-9 in those games with a lone single and no other production. During his career, Chapman is only 5-33 (.152) with a single home run and 16 strikeouts against Cole.<\/p>\n

Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke ‘Bryan Hayes is batting .276 with 14 home runs and 60 RBI across 484 plate appearances during the 2023 campaign.<\/p>\n

Over the last 30 days Hayes is hitting .343 with 6 home runs and 15 RBI across 106 plate appearances. He has now recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 11 of his last 14 games.<\/p>\n

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks is 6-7 with a 3.77 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 86 strikeouts across 126.2 innings of work.<\/p>\n

Hendricks seems to be running out of gas as September has been his worst month with a 4.96 ERA and only 16.1 innings of work across three outings.<\/p>\n
