Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Jake Burger OVER<\/em> 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)<\/h2>\n

Miami Marlins third baseman Jake Burger is quietly putting together an outstanding performance at the plate this season with a .247 batting average, 33 home runs and 75 RBI across 485 plate appearances.<\/p>\n

He has seen a resurgence at the plate since joining the Marlins at the deadline and has hit .306 with 8 home runs and 23 RBI in the two months since joining the team.<\/p>\n

The Marlins are coming off a statement weekend series sweep over the Atlanta Braves where they outscored them 36-13. Burger went 7-14 in the series with two home runs and 6 RBI, and he’s now cleared 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI in four straight games.<\/p>\n

New York Mets starting pitcher Jose Butto has been solid in his time with the big club, going 1-2 with a 3.46 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 23 strikeouts across 26 innings of work.<\/p>\n

However, he has walked a staggering 18 batters in those innings and even a free-swinging team like Marlins can take advantage of that.<\/p>\n

The Marlins are battling for a wild card spot at home against a Mets team that traded the season away. Burger has been a huge part of that and when he’s on a hot streak like this I’ll take a double… or two.<\/p>\n\n

Hitter Prop Prediction 2: Austin Riley OVER<\/em> 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100)<\/span><\/h2>\n

It’s been business as usual for Atlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley who is batting .277 with 36 home runs and 10 RBI across 648 plate appearances during the 2023 campaign.<\/p>\n

Riley is batting .273 in September with 4 home runs and 8 RBI across 64 plate appearances. He has recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in four of his last five games despite falling short in his last game.<\/p>\n

You could say the same for Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler who is 11-6 with a 3.70 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 196 strikeouts across 175 innings of work.<\/p>\n

However, he was just hammered by the Braves in his last outing on September 12th where he allowed six runs on seven hits including three home runs across only five innings.<\/p>\n

Riley went 1-3 in that game with a run scored, clearing 1.5 HRR in the process. Riley has also had great success against Wheeler in his career, going 11-38 (.289) with a home run and five RBI.<\/p>\n

Wheeler is a great pitcher, but he is in poor form and Riley hits him very well. Give me the over on Riley’s HRR tonight in the ATL.<\/p>\n\n
