The Warriors have had a different lineup every game for about 2.5 weeks so we won’t be looking at recent ATS or Totals trends, but before December 18th when they started losing players they were 13-3 with nine of those wins being double digits.

The last two games with somewhat of a full lineup the Warriors looked back to old form as they took out the Jazz (who had been on fire), and the Heat, both by 7 points. It’s worth noting that despite the lineup issues, in the last 6 wins by Golden State, they’ve scored 111 or more points in those victories (there’s a reason I bring this stat up).

Dallas has been without Doncic since December 10th, and they went 5-5 in that span with Porzingis taking over and putting up tons of points, rebounds and assists. Doncic returned on January 2nd, and they won the next two games, however against subpar opponents in OKC, and a slumping Denver team.

What we’ve been seeing from Dallas is a lack of explosion from the players outside of Doncic and Porzingis. In Doncic’s two games since his return, no player besides him has scored over 15 points, which works when you’re playing a depleted OKC team, or a struggling Denver team, but tonight they will be facing a Warriors team on the uptrend coming off of two solid wins against teams with better records than Dallas.

This is just a roster mismatch as Golden State is getting healthy and is falling back into the routine of playing elite defense combined with incredible team basketball on the offensive end, and Dallas has two wins against teams over .500 since November 16th. I don’t see them keeping up through four quarters as they are now last in pace of play, so they will certainly try and slow down the game, but they won’t hold Golden State in check for long as we’ve seen Golden State score 111 or more points in 6 straight wins, and Dallas has not scored more than 104 points in the last six games Doncic has played in.
