Brad Lambert made my \u201ccoveted\u201d bottom five head coaches list, but has had some solid seasons as a defensive coordinator.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His initial season here was not quite up to par, although the run defense was better than what I expected (4.05-143).&nbsp; <strong>Winning can be contagious, and despite roster changes, a 4-0 start could lead to overachieving.<\/strong>&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll be looking closely at the stat sheet to see if the record does not match their true talent.&nbsp; Wake also has two weeks before facing Clemson, a team that has dominated the Demon Deacons.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll pre-check VT\u2019s home record prior to that matchup.&nbsp; Pitt is dangerous.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Wake to win, OL play needs to improve.&nbsp; FSU is considered a potential top ten team this year, but has had trouble beating Wake.&nbsp; My pre-check will be to see if FSU is doing a better job at closing games out this season.&nbsp;
