<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They clocked in 130<sup>th<\/sup> in the NCAA, and using my adjusted for sacks rush figure, ran 2.55-76 yards per game!&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September will tell me if there is a surprise in store at RB, but short of that, the BC offense won\u2019t win them many games.&nbsp; Still, thanks to a more favorable schedule, coupled with a deeper RB group and experienced OL, my projection is up to 3.8.&nbsp; Rob Chudzinski was promoted to offensive coordinator but that doesn\u2019t seem like a splash move.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Defensively, I saw no real change, which meant that their 4.6 per carry 2021 run defense was still a worry.&nbsp; That was true, as they allowed 4.55-165.5.&nbsp; Even if that changes a bit, the secondary looks weaker.&nbsp; Their DC left for the NFL, and BC promoted two in-house assistants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Boston College 2023 Predictions, Boston College Schedule:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The overall schedule grades out easier, giving BC a chance to compete for a bowl berth.&nbsp; A slipup in the opener hosting NIU would be a red flag.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Considering they are 1-8 hosting FSU, I expect 2-1 heading to a key road game at Louisville, who has a new staff for 2023.&nbsp; BC edged the Cards 34-33 at home in 2022.&nbsp; Games after Louisville are home to a sinking Virginia team, at Army, at GT, and home to improved Connecticut.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are four winnable games, but my watch points will be clearly in place before the Virginia game, and I don\u2019t think they can get by without a better rush attack.&nbsp; Like with Louisville, BC edged Syracuse by a point in 2022.&nbsp; In fact, BC won a trio of games by just one point.&nbsp; This looks like edge, Syracuse.&nbsp; Can they defeat rebuilding Virginia Tech at home?&nbsp;
