He and the Red Sox welcome Tarik Skubal and the Tigers to Fenway Park looking to extend their 3-game winning streak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before going on the IL Sale hadn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in nine of 11 starts including eight straight with Skubal not allowing a first inning run in all six starts this season and ten straight dating back to last season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Red Sox are currently riding a 5-game NRFI streak with the Tigers coming off a NRFI in yesterday\u2019s series finale vs the Twins and are the sixth worst first inning scoring team in the MLB. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both of these teams are currently fighting for their playoff lives so we expect pitchers to be on their A-game out of the gates tonight.
