Hitter Prop Prediction #1: MJ Melendez Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (+100) DK<\/h2>\n

Kansas City Royals right fielder MJ Melendez is in the midst of brutal campaign with a .217 batting average and only eight home runs and 34 RBI across 391 plate appearances. He has fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 20 of his last 27 games despite going 2-4 with a home run in his last game.<\/p>\n

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Sonny Gray dominated the Royals in two April starts, allowing only one earned run on eight hits across 11 innings of work. On the season, Gray has a 4-4 record, 3.15 ERA and 110 strikeouts across 111.1 innings of work. He has put the clamps down on Melendez in particular, holding him 2-10 with four strikeouts and no extra-base hits. Melendez has also struggled against current Twins relievers as he is 2-19 against them with one extra-base hit.<\/p>\n

The Royals are the second-lowest scoring team in all of baseball with only 3.68 runs per game. They averaged an even three runs per game across their most recent three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians. Melendez will struggle to find RBI and run scoring opportunities in a matchup where the deck is stacked against him. Take his under 1.5 HRR with a sweet price at +100.<\/p>\n\n

Hitter Prop Prediction #2: Mickey Moniak Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (+105) DK<\/span><\/h2>\n

Los Angeles Angels right fielder Mickey Moniak has built an amazing stat line during the 2023 season with a .335 batting average, 11 home runs and 35 RBI across only 191 plate appearances. Moniak is currently on a 17-game hitting streak where he has recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 14 times. He feasts on right-handed pitching with a .366 batting average and 11 home runs across 153 at-bats compared to .172 with no home runs across 29 at-bats against southpaws.<\/p>\n

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher is having another consistent season with a 7-5 record, 3.18 ERA and 162 strikeouts across 121.2 innings pitched. Gausman did hold Moniak to 0-3 in his lone appearance against him but that was back in 2021 when Moniak was with the Philadelphia Phillies and Gausman played for the San Francisco Giants.<\/p>\n

Gausman is also coming off a start where he allowed four runs on five hits including four runs against the Seattle Mariners in a 9-8 loss. Moniak is also batting .400 in road games this season, let’s ride the hot streak with the 25-year-old north of the border tonight in Toronto.<\/p>\n\n
