<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

NRFI Prediction 1: Diamondbacks vs Braves (-120)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have a battle of aces to kick off the slate today as Zac Gallen goes up against Spencer Strider. The Braves have shockingly lost four straight with Strider not allowing a first inning run in five straight starts and 15 of 19 starts overall on the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His WHIP sits at a solid 1.10 on the season while allowing opponents to bat .206 when pitching at home. He allows current Diamondbacks to hit .174 all-time against him with these two playing to a NRFI in last night\u2019s game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gallen hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in back-to-back starts and hasn\u2019t allowed one in 16 of 20 starts overall on the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gallen is much worse on the road than at home but his last start did go to a NRFI even though he allowed three earned runs in five innings at Toronto. Play on a NRFI in today\u2019s Diamondbacks vs Braves matchup at -120<\/strong> as these two Cy Young caliber pitches take the rubber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NRFI Prediction 2: Tigers vs Royals (-122)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two of three games in this Tigers vs Royals series have resulted in a NRFI as these two play their series finale with all-star Michael Lorenzen taking the mound against Zach Greinke. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorenzen is currently on a streak of not allowing a first inning run in five straight and not allowing one in 10 of 16 starts on the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both teams are still bottom eight in the MLB in first inning scoring as current Royals have only hit .179 off Lorenzen in their collective careers. Lorenzen also allows a lower batting average on the road at .212 compared to when pitching at home, .256. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greinke is coming off the 15-day IL list but has been known to be a much better pitcher at home as of late. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Royals veteran hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in 15 of 18 total starts on the season including his outing against Detroit back on May 24th where he went five innings while only allowing one run.
