Pitcher Prop Prediction 1: Aaron Nola Over 18.5 Outs (+130)<\/h2>\n

Philadelphia Phillies starter Aaron Nola is coming off a brilliant outing where he tossed six shutout innings while allowing only two hits against the high-octane Atlanta Braves lineup.<\/p>\n

He has recorded 19+ outs in his last three outings while pitching at least six innings in 13 straight starts. This includes and outing on May 20th against Chicago where Nola recorded 21 outs while holding them two runs across seven innings.<\/p>\n

The Chicago Cubs rank 25th in OPS and 23rd in wOBA against right-handed pitching at .684 and .303 respectively. They have also hit only 13 home runs against righties all season long.<\/p>\n

Current Cubs hitters have struggled against Nola, hitting only .174 against him with five home runs across 149 at-bats. The Phillies bullpen is in solid shape after only needing to cover 1.2 innings yesterday after a dominant 7.1 innings from Ranger Suarez.<\/p>\n

However, the Phills look to be determined to pitch Nola for 100 pitches per outing. Based on his history against the Cubs, Nola will pitch into the 6th inning and cash this ticket.<\/p>\n\n

Pitcher Prop Prediction 2: Joey Wentz Under 15.5 (-135)<\/span><\/h2>\n

Joey Wentz in the middle of a dismal campaign where he has a 1-8 record, 6.72 ERA and 1.58 WHIP across 67 innings of work. He has fallen short of 16+ outs recorded in 7 of his last 8 outings.<\/p>\n

This includes an outing against the Texas Rangers where he recorded only 13 outs while allowing one run on seven hits across 4.1 innings of work.<\/p>\n

The Rangers rank #2 on the season in OPS, wRC+ and wOBA against southpaws in 2023. They also have solid short-term numbers against Wentz, batting .333 against him in 18 plate appearances.<\/p>\n

The Rangers have the ability to stack seven right-handed hitters against a left-handed pitcher with the lefties being two of their strongest hitters in Corey Seager and Nathaniel Lowe.<\/p>\n
