NRFI Prediction 1: Marlins vs Nationals (-120)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re looking to a NL East battle tonight as the Marlins head to Washington D.C. sending Sandy Alcantara to the mound who hasn\u2019t been anywhere near the pitcher he was last season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nationals start Trevor Williams who was solid his last time out going give innings and giving up two earned runs to the Braves in a road win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those two runs came in the first but before that start he hadn\u2019t given up a first inning run in 11 straight starts including one against this Marlins team at home where a NRFI occurred. The Marlins haven\u2019t scored a first inning run in ten straight games and have played to a NRFI in seven of their last eight games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcantara hasn\u2019t give up a first inning run in nine of his last ten starts although he\u2019s only 2-5 with a 4.75 ERA on the season. Play on a Marlins vs Nationals NRFI tonight at -1<\/strong>20 with first pitch slated for 7:05pm ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NRFI Prediction 1: Yankees vs Red Sox (+102)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When the Yankees and Red Sox played just a week ago, all three games of the series went to a NRFI as these two start up another three game set in Boston tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only 14 total runs were scored in that series as we could be set for another low scoring affair tonight. Domingo German takes the mound for New York who hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in five straight starts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently the Yankees have played to a NRFI in 10 of their past 12 games. The Red Sox scored in the first inning in their last game against the Rockies but before that played to a NRFI in 12 of their previous 15 games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanner Houck starts for Boston tonight not allowing a first inning run in six of his previous seven starts. Look for a NRFI to happen in tonight\u2019s Yankees vs Red Sox AL East showdown<\/strong> starting at 7:10pm ET with odds listed at a valuable +102<\/strong> heading in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
