Hits + Runs + RBIs Prediction 1: Ronald Acuna Jr. Over 2.5 (-115)<\/h2>\n

Ronald Acuna Jr is in the middle of an MVP-caliber campaign with a .333 batting average, .985 OPS, 15 home runs, 44 RBI and 59 runs across 276 at-bats.<\/p>\n

He is in an enviable position in the Braves lineup as he bats leadoff in front of hitters like Austin Riley and Matt Olson. Acuna Jr. has recorded 3+ HRR in his last three games and 7 of his last 10 games. Colorado starter Kyle Freeland has struggled away from home with a 4.81 ERA and .268 OBA across 33.2 road innings.<\/p>\n

Acuna Jr. has thrived against Freeland in his career, going 3-8 with a home run and a walk. He has crushed left-handed pitching throughout the season with a .349 batting average and .603 slugging percentage.<\/p>\n

Acuna Jr. isn’t the only Atlanta slugger to feast on Freeland as Ozzie Albies is 6-18 with a triple and two doubles and Austin Riley is 2-3 with a home run. This will give Acuna Jr opportunities to be driven in after getting on base.<\/p>\n

There will also be chances to stack statistics late in the game against a Rockies bullpen that ranks 24th with a 4.53 ERA and 27th with a 1.46 WHIP. We usually target an over 1.5 for this prop, but with a small slate and Acuna Jr. riding a hot streak, we will take his over 2.5 on Hits + Runs + RBI at reasonable juice.<\/p>\n\n

Hits + Runs + RBIs Prediction 2: Javier Baez Under 1.5 (-135)<\/span><\/h2>\n

Javier Baez is having an underwhelming season with a .228 batting average, .587 OPS and only 4 home runs, 29 RBI and 24 runs across 250 at-bats.<\/p>\n

The Detroit Tigers lineup has been lifeless in general as they rank dead last in runs, OPS and wOBA. Minnesota Twins starter Sonny Gray has been brilliant this season with a 4-1 record, 2.25 ERA and 1.25 WHIP across 72 innings of work.<\/p>\n

Gray has baffled Baez over the course of his career, holding him to 1-21 with a single and 12 strikeouts. This will be Baez first game against Minnesota this season, but he fell short of this number in 9 of 15 games against them last season.<\/p>\n

Gray will be backed by a bullpen that ranks 6th with a 3.46 ERA and 8th with a 1.24 WHIP. We have been targeting HRR overs for the most part, but with limited action and Baez’s track record against Gray, I will gladly take his under tonight.<\/p>\n\n
