NRFI Prediction 1: Tigers vs Twins (-120)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Tigers and Twins kickoff a 4-game series today in Minnesota with lefty Matthew Boyd going up against ace Sonny Gray. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Twins sport the third worst batting average in the MLB against lefties as both the Tigers and Twins have bottom 7 team batting averages in the league overall. Sure Boyd has a 5.55 overall ERA but on the road that shrinks to a 2.93 ERA as the lefty hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in five straight starts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current Twins hitters have a .212 batting average against Boyd all-time. The Twins have played to a NRFI in 14 of their last 16 games as Gray hasn\u2019t given up a first inning run in nine straight starts! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NRFI Prediction 1: Angels vs Rangers (-113)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Angels look to take three of four games tonight in their series finale with the Rangers as we see two aces take the mound in Shohei Ohtani and Nathan Eovaldi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two teams have played to a NRFI in the first three games of this series with the Angels playing to one in eight of their last ten games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the Rangers offense has been stellar this season, they\u2019ve failed to score a first inning run in their last nine games. Eovaldi sports a 9-2 record and 2.49 ERA while not allowing a first inning run in his last eight starts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re sure Ohtani wants to come out of the gates stronger than he\u2019s shown recently allowing a first inning run in each of his last three starts. Look for another NRFI to occur in Angels vs Rangers today at -113<\/strong> with first pitch coming at 8:05pm ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
