NRFI Prediction 1: Yankees vs Mets (-125)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Yankees and Mets kickoff their Subway Series tonight with Luis Severino going up against Max Scherzer. The Yankees have played to eight straight NRFI games with the Mets playing to a NRFI in six of their last eight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mets come in as still the worst first inning scoring team in the MLB this season with the Yankees near the bottom of the pack in that category as well. Severino hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in two of his last three starts with Scherzer not allowing one in four of his previous five. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York is coming off another rival series loss dropping two of three to the Red Sox at home only scoring seven runs in total during the series. The Mets have lost eight of nine as both teams sit in the bottom half of the MLB in team batting average. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both pitchers should be coming out of the gates hot as both teams attempt to find where their bats went. Play on a NRFI in this Yankees vs Mets game at -125<\/strong> starting at 7:10pm ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NRFI Prediction 1: Guardians vs Padres (-120)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJava\u201d Joe Musgrove has been solid as of late allowing one earned run or less in each of his last three starts. He should have no problem getting past a Guardians lineup in the first inning ranking ninth worst in first inning scoring on the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total Musgrove hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in six of his eight starts this season as the Guardians rank near the bottom in many different offensive categories still including total runs scored, OBP and OPS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanner Bibee starts for Cleveland who besides last start against Boston hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run all season. The Padres own the third worst batting average in the MLB and before their weekend series with the Rockies had played to a NRFI in eight of nine games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look for a NRFI to occur in this Guardians vs Padres matchup<\/strong> with first pitch at 9:40pm ET and odds listed at -120<\/strong> heading in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
