This will be the only series between these teams in the 2023 campaign. The Yankees prevailed in two of three games in Los Angeles way back in August of 2019. The Dodgers are wrapping up a six-game homestand that they are 2-1 on after a series against Washington.<\/p>\n

New York has started a six-game road trip with a 2-1 record after a series in Seattle and has won 11 of their last 16 games. Two of the world’s hottest hitters are in these lineups and four other former MVPs are joining them in this series.<\/p>\n

The Bronx Bombers are crushing left-handed pitching and Kershaw has struggled recently with 10 earned runs across only 12.2 innings pitched in his last three starts. The Yankees lineup will be able to do some damage against a vulnerable Dodgers pen, especially if Kershaw isn’t able to pitch deep into the game.<\/p>\n
