Texas is kicking off a six-game homestand after finishing 6-3 on their road trip.<\/p>\n<p>Seattle is beginning an eight-game road trip after wrapping up a 7-3 homestand. Both teams start right-handed pitchers in games 1 &amp; 3 and southpaws in Game 2.<\/p>\n<p>The Rangers lineup has a tremendous advantage in this series while Seattle has the superior bullpen. The Rangers have crushed left-handed pitching, they rank top three in almost any offensive category on the season and over the last 30 days.<\/p>\n<p>Game 2 starter Marco Gonzales is a vulnerable southpaw with an ERA north of 5.00. He has been putting far too many batters on base and Texas will make him pay.<\/p>\n<p>Seager and Lowe don&#8217;t have the best track records against him but I&#8217;m still confident taking an over the Rangers team total for the first five innings of the second game. There are many starters I can think of who have been more consistent than Nathan Eovaldi during the 2023 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The Mariners lineup is well below average against right-handed pitching and Eovaldi will make quick work of them.
