Golden Knights vs Stars Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Dallas Stars will play host to the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.<\/p>\n

Vegas took a 2-0 series advantage after winning 3-2 in overtime on Sunday night as -120 money line favorites.<\/p>\n

The Stars finished the regular season with a 47-21-14 record while the Golden Knights ended the season 51-22-9. The puck drops at 8:00 PM EST\/5:00 PST from the American Airlines Center in Dallas.<\/p>\n

Stars Hope To Shine At Home<\/h3>\n

The Dallas Stars fell behind 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals after a brutal overtime loss on Sunday. Goaltender Jake Oettinger allowed three goals on only 24 shots.<\/p>\n

Miro Heiskanen and Jason Robertson each scored a goal while Ryan Suter recorded two assists. The Stars offense has been rock solid this season, ranking 7th in goals scored and 14th in shots taken.<\/p>\n

Jason Robertson led the team with 109 points while ranking 7th in goals scored. Jamie Benn had 78 points, Joe Pavelski had 77 points and Roope Hintz had 75 points.<\/p>\n

The Stars offense remained strong with three goals in Game 1, but scored only two goals in Game 2. Defense and goaltending was spectacular during the regular season as they ranked 3rd in goals against and 9th in shots allowed per game.<\/p>\n

Oettinger was lights out with a 37-11-11 record, 2.37 GAA and .919 save percentage, tied for 2nd in shutouts. The playoffs haven’t been as kind as Oettinger sits at 8-5 with a 2.75 GAA and .908 save percentage.<\/p>\n

Vegas Handles Business At Home<\/h3>\n

The Vegas Golden Knights held onto home ice advantage with a thrilling overtime victory to take a commanding 2-0 series edge. Chandler Stephenson scored the game winner in overtime while also recording an assist.<\/p>\n

Mark Stone and Johnathan Marchessault each scored a goal and had an assist. Goaltender Adin Hill stopped 26 of 28 shots in the victory. The Vegas offense was the definition of middle of the pack, ranking 16th in goals per game and 15th in shots per game.<\/p>\n

Jack Eichel led the team with 66 points during the regular season and is tied with Mark Stone with 15 points during the post-season. Defense was solid during the regular season as they ranked 11th in goals against and 13th in shots against.<\/p>\n

Adin Hill has been in a groove since taking over between the pipes. He stopped 38 of 40 shots to eliminate the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6 last round. Hill has now stopped 59 of 64 shots in the first two games of Western Conference Finals.<\/p>\n

Golden Knights vs Stars Expert Prediction<\/h2>\n

The Dallas Stars enter this contest as -145 money line favorites with a total set 5.5. I took the Dallas Stars at plus money to win this series prior to Game 1 and still like their chances now that they are at home in Dallas.<\/p>\n

The Stars dominated the Golden Knights, winning all three games whole holding Vegas to 0, 2 & 1 goals in the process.<\/p>\n
