Boston will be looking to make the first step towards history as no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit and won a playoff series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miami won Game 3 despite entering the game as 4.5 point underdogs. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 PM EST\/5:30 PST from the Kaseya Center on TNT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<h3>Celtics Hit Rock Bottom<\/h3>\n<p>The Boston Celtics are on the brink of elimination after losing a third straight game despite being heavily favored in all three contests. Boston lost every quarter other than the garbage time 4th quarter where both sides emptied their bench.<\/p>\n<p>It says it all that Jayson Tatum led the Celtics in scoring with a pitiful 14 points. Tatum did manage to record a double-double with 10 rebounds while Jaylen Brown scored only 12 points on 6-17 from the field and 0-7 from three-point land.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Joe Mazzulla went back to the small lineup, starting Derrick White over Robert Williams III, but it made no difference. The Celts dominated the glass with a 57-35 rebounding edge but got outshot 56.8% to 39.8% from the floor.<\/p>\n<p>They rank 2nd in offensive efficiency and 3rd in defensive efficiency, but that hasn&#8217;t made a difference in this series. Boston sports a clean injury report despite this late stage of the season.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Heat Check<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Miami Heat dominated the Celtics from wire-to-wire and find themselves ahead 3-0 after a 26-point victory that wasn&#8217;t even that close. Gabe Vincent led all scorers with a career high 29 points while hitting 6 three-pointers along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duncan Robinson added 22 points off the bench on 5-7 from beyond the arc while Jimmy Butler had a strong all around game with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miami once again dominated on the perimeter, hitting 8 more long-distance shots than Boston. Kevin Love left game three with a lower leg injury after only five minutes and is listed as probable for Game 4. The likely replacement would be Caleb Martin who scored 18 points off the bench in Game 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Martin, Vincent and Robinson were all undrafted players along with starter Max Strus which shows how great the Heat scouting department is at evaluating talent. Miami ranked 7th in offensive efficiency and 25th in offensive efficiency during the season but have thrived in both departments during this series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Celtics vs Heat Game 4&nbsp;Prediction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Miami Heat enter this contest as small home favorites with a spread of 1.5 and a total of 216. Call me crazy, but I think we see a big effort from the Celtics based on pride alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s difficult to beat any team four games in a row and Boston is still 4-1 ATS in their last five trips to Miami. Tatum and Brown have both struggled of late, but they are just too good for this to continue. The Celtics have been heavy favorites in all three games and we get them tonight as slight underdogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NBA Conference Finals haven&#8217;t both ended in sweeps in the history of the league and I have a sneaking suspicious that we won&#8217;t be going over a week before the Finals begin. Boston will be looking to make the first step towards history as no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit and won a playoff series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Miami won Game 3 despite entering the game as 4.5 point underdogs. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 PM EST\/5:30 PST from the Kaseya Center on TNT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Heat Check<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The Miami Heat dominated the Celtics from wire-to-wire and find themselves ahead 3-0 after a 26-point victory that wasn't even that close. Gabe Vincent led all scorers with a career high 29 points while hitting 6 three-pointers along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Duncan Robinson added 22 points off the bench on 5-7 from beyond the arc while Jimmy Butler had a strong all around game with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Miami once again dominated on the perimeter, hitting 8 more long-distance shots than Boston. Tatum and Brown have both struggled of late, but they are just too good for this to continue.
