NRFI Prediction 1: Mets vs Cubs (-132)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Mets rank dead last in first inning scoring among all MLB teams overall as well as on the road this season. The Cubs are 8th worst overall and 11th worst at home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kodai Senga takes the mound against Drew Smyly with both pitchers going six innings allowing only one earned run in their respective last start. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s not the only thing these two starters have in common as both haven\u2019t allowed a first inning run in five of their last seven starts as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As long as Senga limits his walks he shouldn\u2019t have a problem limiting the Cubs to zero runs in the first with Smyly\u2019s WHIP coming in at 0.93 heading in to tonight\u2019s game. Play on a Mets vs Cubs NRFI at -132<\/strong> with first pitch slated for 7:40pm ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NRFI Prediction 1: Giants vs Twins (-130)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We struck out with a Giants vs Twins NRFI last night but we\u2019re going back to this matchup tonight as Alex Cobb faces Sonny Gray with both sporting sub-2.00 ERA\u2019s heading in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from his first start of the season, Cobb hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run all season! Gray sports a 0.89 home ERA and hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run himself in five straight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the Giants and Twins sit in the bottom half of the MLB in team batting average with the Twins striking out the most times of any MLB team and Giants striking out the fourth most times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We should have better luck tonight taking a Twins vs Giants NRFI at -130<\/strong> with a 7:40pm ET first pitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
