Reds vs Mets Expert Betting Advice<\/h2>\n

This will be the first head-to-head meeting between these teams in the 2023 campaign. The Mets dominated the regular season series 5-1 in 2022, including a three-game sweep at Citi Field.<\/p>\n

Cincinnati will be wrapping up a six game homestand that they are currently 1-2 on after a three game weekend series against the Chicago White Sox.<\/p>\n

New York will be kicking off a six-game road trip after losing two of three against the Colorado Rockies at home. Both teams are middle of the pack in starting pitching, relief pitching and hitting.<\/p>\n

May 9th game features two starters who have really struggled and have not been able string together any lengthy outings. Luke Weaver has allowed 14 earned runs in only 16 innings including five home runs. Look for an over on the Mets team total or an under on Weaver’s outs recorded.<\/p>\n

However, without seeing the lines the best spot in this series is to back the Mets and Kodai Senga in May 11th’s game on Thursday. Senga will be the strongest and most consistent starter in this series with his 4-1 record and 3.38 ERA.<\/p>\n

Look to the Mets on the money line or utilize the run line if necessary to mitigate the juice.<\/strong> Especially considering the Mets will be guaranteed a full 9 innings of at bats at Great American Ballpark.<\/p>\n
