NRFI Prediction 1: Angels vs Astros (-104)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Patrick Sandoval and Hunter Brown square off tonight in a AL West battle between the Angels and Astros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Astros have been a part of a NRFI in four straight games and Brown himself has allowed no runs in the first inning in four of his six starts this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brown sports a 1.93 road ERA allowing hitters to only bat .175 off him away from home. Sandoval has been great at home this season with a 2.08 ERA with right handed hitters only batting .176 against him in total on the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Angels haven\u2019t allowed a first inning run in three straight and Sandoval loves pitching more so at night throwing 12.2 more innings than during the day but has given up two less runs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NRFI Prediction 2: Giants vs Nationals (-120)<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although they\u2019re sitting last in the NL East as expected, the Nationals sit at a respectable 14-20 when many thought this record would look more like 8-26 at this point in the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jake Irvin makes his second career start after going 4.1 innings allowing only one run against the Cubs five days ago. He gets the Giants tonight who have been involved in lower scoring games as of late with the total not exceeding 10 in six straight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019re also riding back-to-back NRFI games and I see that trend continuing as they send Anthony DeSclafani who hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in five of his six starts this season. He\u2019s coming off a stellar outing at Houston allowing three hits and no runs in eight innings pitched. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look for a NRFI to occur in this Giants vs Nationals game at -120<\/strong> which will conclude tonight\u2019s MLB slate starting at 9:45pm ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
