NRFI Prediction 1: Padres vs Dodgers (-122)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two veterans take the mound tonight as the Dodgers head to San Diego to take on the Padres. Clayton Kershaw takes the mound for the Dodgers only allowing one earned run in his last 20 innings pitched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dodgers bats have been on fire as of late scoring 10+ runs in each game of their series against the Phillies, but Darvish has the stuff that can cool those bats off, at least for the first inning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He sports a 3.00 home ERA and hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in four of his five starts this season. Last season against the Dodgers he allowed batters to only hit .191 off him sporting a 2.52 ERA in total against Los Angeles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Houston Astros starter tonight Christian Javier hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in five straight starts taking on the Mariners and ace Luis Castillo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in five of his six starts this season and sports a 1.82 ERA in total this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mariners as a team have been involved in a NRFI in six of their last seven games with another one lining up nicely tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
