Miami Grand Prix Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

Formula 1 travels to Miami where rain could play a part in the race on Sunday, but as we know the weather can change pretty quick.<\/p>\n

Red Bull dominated Azerbaijan last week, and I think they could do it again this weekend. Based on watching them when they get out to the lead, and listening to drivers interviews I actually think they might be holding back in the race to not make it look too dominating.<\/p>\n

Ferrari can keep up on one lap speed, but in the race it doesn\u2019t seem close. The biggest disappointments last weekend were the Alpine\u2019s who never had speed, and on the flip side McLaren almost had another double top 10 finish with Norris and Piastri finishing 9th and 10th.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest developing storylines in Formula 1 is how close Sergio Perez is to Max Verstappen, and will this be a battle for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n

It sure looks like it, but Max is still the betting favorite, but this doesn\u2019t appear to be the runaway for Verstappen like most thought at the beginning of the season (including myself).<\/p>\n

Perez seems to excel at this city road courses, and it looks like Red Bull is going to be having a lot of 1-2 finishes so if Perez can hold serve on this types of road course he can keep the Championship fight close all season.<\/p>\n

Miami Grand Prix Parlay<\/h3>\n

I like using these as parlay pieces:<\/p>\n

Red Bull Double Top 6 -250<\/strong>
\nMercedes Double Top 10 -225<\/strong><\/p>\n

They are juicy so I understand not wanting to play these straight up, but I parlay these with other plays I like (Alonso over Stroll is an example) to get the most out of the play.<\/p>\n

Without a wreck or reliability issues, these plays are going to hit every week. Hamilton and Russell have finished top 10 in 23 out of the last 26 races showing the reliability of these bets (pun intended).<\/p>\n

Miami Grand Prix Drivers to Avoid<\/h3>\n

-Alpine\u2019s weren\u2019t just bad in the race, they weren\u2019t that good in practice either. Hopefully, they have a better showing this week, but I won\u2019t be betting on them until I see them show good form.<\/p>\n

-Haas cars haven\u2019t been great, but I\u2019ve been using the matchup of Hulkenberg over Magnussen in practice, qualifying and the race, but Hulkenberg ran into problems and did not win the head to head matchup in the Sprint or in the race so I\u2019ll need to wait and see if they fixed his issues.<\/p>\n

Miami Grand Prix Prediction: Mercedes Double Top 10<\/h2>\n

I use this prop to put with another parlay piece, either in Formula 1 or in another sport as it\u2019s -225 right now.<\/p>\n

You could play it now on its own if you\u2019re comfortable laying juice or wait and see if something goes wrong for them in qualifying, but if they have a Good Friday, this price will drop come Sunday.<\/p>\n
