Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For May 4<\/h2>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Paul Goldschmidt (+330)<\/h2>\n

The Cardinals are in free-fall mode now losers in eight of their last nine games and sit dead last in the NL Central. Reigning NL MVP Paul Goldschmidt has been pedestrian this season but still hitting .296 with four home runs.<\/p>\n

Last April Goldschmidt hit .282 in April with only one home run. In May 2022 Goldschmidt hit .404 to go along with 10 home runs. We\u2019re going to follow that trend for today\u2019s matchup with Griffin Canning and the Angels.<\/p>\n

Goldschmidt only has a few plate appearances against Canning in his career with nothing to show for it but the Angels pitcher has a tendency to give up home runs. He gave up one every 4.1 innings pitched in 2021.<\/p>\n

He missed the 2022 season but he\u2019s already given up two home runs in 15.1 innings pitched so we should see a home run or two fly out of Busch Stadium today.<\/p>\n

Get Goldschmidt to hit a home run at +330 with other Cardinals who could hit a home run off Canning include Nolan Arenado (+400)<\/strong> and Nolan Gorman (+480)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: George Springer (+600)<\/span><\/h2>\n

Red Sox pitcher Bryan Bello hasn\u2019t gotten off to the start he\u2019d hoped for this season. He sports a 7.04 home ERA allowing two home runs in 7.2 innings pitched.<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays are another struggling team now losers of four straight including three straight to these Red Sox and if the Blue Jays are going to bounce back, Bello is the perfect pitcher to do it against.<\/p>\n

Current Blue Jays hitters collectively hit .444 against him so lets go with George Springer to hit a home run who hasn\u2019t hit one since April 14.<\/p>\n

Last season Springer hit .367 at Fenway Park and hit .380 against the Red Sox in all games with four home runs and 16 RBIs. It\u2019s been noted Springer is the locked in lead off hitter for the Blue Jays maximizing the amount of at-bats he\u2019ll get tonight.<\/p>\n

Take Springer to hit a home run at a valuable +600 with other Blue Jays hitters to consider hitting a home run are Matt Chapman (+460)<\/strong> and Bo Bichette (+700)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
