What is Verifying\u2019s racing profile and history?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Verifying made his debut on August 27 at Saratoga, where he won a six-furlong maiden race by 2 1\/4 lengths over Track Mate and Didinger after breaking well and taking command early. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then stepped up to Grade 1 company in his second start on October 1 at Belmont Park, where he finished second in the one-mile Champagne Stakes behind Blazing Sevens, who won by four lengths. He earned 20 points for that effort, which put him in seventh place on the Kentucky Derby leaderboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then tried his luck in his third start on November 4 at Keeneland, where he finished sixth in the $2 million Breeders\u2019 Cup Juvenile behind Forte, Cave Rock, National Treasure, Reincarnate and Derma Sotogake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
