NRFI Prediction 1: Tigers vs Mets 2nd Game (-125)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday\u2019s Tigers vs Mets game was rained out so they\u2019ll play a double header today. In the second game of that double header former Tiger Max Scherzer will go up against Michael Lorenzen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we noted yesterday, the Tigers and Mets have scored the least amount of first inning runs of any MLB teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scherzer will be firing out of the gates as he\u2019ll want to put on a show for the Tigers faithful that cheered him on between 2010-14. Lorenzen is still looking to earn his way to a consistent rotation spot so look for him to be locked in as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather in Detroit should hold up avoiding another postponement. This is Scherzer\u2019s first start since April 19 adding to the excitement surrounding Scherzer\u2019s start for the Mets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Play on a NRFI<\/strong> to occur in the second game of this doubleheader between Tigers vs Mets game at -125<\/strong> with first pitch coming at 6:40pm ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NRFI Prediction 2: Yankees vs Guardians (-128)<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Clarke Schmidt takes the mound for the Yankees tonight going up against Guardians ace Shane Bieber tonight. This has been a low-scoring series already with only 11 total runs being scored over the first two games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A NRFI occurred in both of those games so why not make it three-straight tonight? Both the Yankees and Guardians are bottom half in the MLB in first inning run scoring. In fact, the Guardians are bottom five when playing in road games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Yankees are still trying to find an identity without the services of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton for the time being as both are shelved with injuries. I expect a consistent Bieber to take advantage and shut this Yankees team down in the first inning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known as a fly ball pitcher, expect Schmidt to do the same to the Guardians as their 1-3 hitters only have four home runs combined on the season. Play on a NRFI<\/strong> in this Yankees vs Guardians matchup at -128<\/strong> before 7:05pm ET first pitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
