The Memphis Grizzlies survived a must-win situation on Wednesday night as they beat the Los Angeles Lakers 116-99. Desmond Bane led all scorers with 33 points and 10 rebounds while Ja Morant was right behind him with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.<\/p>\n

It was the first time in Memphis Grizzlies history a pair of teammates recorded 30+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ assists. Jaren Jackson Jr also posted an 18 point, 10 rebound double-double. The Grizzlies shot 14 of 40 from beyond the arc as a team.<\/p>\n

This will be the Grizzlies third shot at winning a playoff game in LA after losing 111-101 in Game 3 and 117-111 in overtime in Game 4. Desmond Bane promised the Memphis faithful that they would return home for a decisive Game 7.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lakers Look To Wrap It Up In Los Angeles<\/h3>\n

The Los Angeles Lakers failed to generate 100 points in a 17 point loss in Memphis on Wednesday night. Anthony Davis led his team in scoring and was the games top rebounder with an impressive 31 point, 19 rebound double-double.<\/p>\n

LeBron James and D’Angelo Russell also both posted triple-doubles as James had 15 points and 10 rebounds while Russell chipped in with 11 points and 10 assists. The Lakers were outscored 56-48 in the paint despite ADs 19 rebound performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
