Top five clash on Tuesday night over in Spain as 5th placed Betis take on 4th placed Real Sociedad with Betis looking to mount a late season challenge to unseat the Basque side from their current Champions League position.<\/p>\n

That might be easier said than done however as Betis have been mired in some poor form of late, losing three of their last four games outright as they nervously look over their shoulder at the hard charging Athletic Bilbao.<\/p>\n

Real Sociedad haven\u2019t exactly been in the best run of form recently either, winning just four games total since late January, and will hope that a current six point cushion will be enough to see them lock in that final Champions League spot in the table.<\/p>\n

A tight game is expected here on Tuesday, but with Betis covering this plus half goal handicap line in all of the previous six meetings between the two sides, including winning three of those six outright as well, we\u2019re siding with the home side in this one to get another positive result this week.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Real Betis +0.5 (-145)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Getafe vs Almeria | Wednesday 4\/26 | 1:30pm ET<\/h2>\n

Almeria +325 | Getafe -110 | Draw +240<\/strong><\/p>\n

The battle for survival is often more compelling than the title race and this will likely prove to be the case once again in Wednesday\u2019s intriguing clash between Almeria and Getafe down at the bottom of the table.<\/p>\n

Just one point separates both teams in the league right now and a loss here might well prove disastrous, especially considering Valencia, the team right below them, came off a much needed win against Elche over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Almeria\u2019s defense has been a huge issue for them all season, ranking second from bottom overall allowing 1.73 goals per game on average. However, that\u2019s more than offset by an offense that ranks top half in the league this season in terms of goals scored from open play.<\/p>\n

With a line set at a straight 2 here, we\u2019re happy to take a piece of the Over 2 goals on Wednesday as two of the last four meetings between the two sides in this venue have seen at least four goals scored.<\/p>\n

Valencia vs Real Valladolid | Thursday 4\/27 | 1:30pm ET<\/h2>\n

Real Valladolid +370 | Valencia -130 | Draw +275

Valencia will look to make it back-to-back wins here on Thursday, a feat they haven\u2019t managed in the league all season, as they desperately try to stave off their first exit from the Spanish top flight since 1986.<\/p>\n

They face a Real Valladolid side in this one that are coming off back-to-back wins themselves of late, one against high-flying Villarreal also, as the Pucelanos look to put added daylight between themselves and the drop zone with just five points separating them currently.<\/p>\n

Despite their solid recent form, Valladolid have given up 13 goals across their last five league starts, a league worst, with Valencia not faring much better, giving up an average of 2.0 goals per game across their four previous matchups prior to the win against Elche last weekend.<\/p>\n

The Over 2.5 goals could well be the angle to look at in this game considering four of the last five head-to-heads between the two sides in this venue have gone over the total with both teams looking in some porous form defensively of late also.<\/p>\n
