Bayern Munich have enjoyed a pretty torrid start since former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel took over last month.<\/p>\n

The Bavarian club have been dumped out of both the DFB Pokal and the Champions League over his short reign and drew against bottom half Hoffenheim last weekend also to leave the title race wide open at the top.<\/p>\n

Mainz meanwhile are on the hunt for a Europa League spot after enjoying a nine game unbeaten run in the league.<\/p>\n

With Bayern coming off their Champions League exit on Wednesday against Manchester City, expect them to vent those frustrations here as they look to run up the scoreboard against an overmatched Mainz side on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Bayern Munich Win and Over 2.5 (+110)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hoffenheim vs FC Koln | Saturday 4\/22 | 8:30am ET<\/h2>\n

A tale of two clubs right now as despite only being separated by two places in the table, both FC Koln and Hoffenheim have been in some markedly different form of late.<\/p>\n

Hoffenheim have been absolutely flying in the league, ranking as the Bundesliga 2nd hottest team behind only Bayer Leverkusen as they\u2019ve generated 2.00 PPG across their last five starts, and come off an impressive 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich last time out as well.<\/p>\n

FC Koln meanwhile have been anything but impressive, amssing just one league win away from home since September, although that did come in their very last away trip against a struggling Augsburg side.<\/p>\n

Despite Hoffenheim\u2019s recent impressive form, and FC Koln\u2019s woeful H2H record in this venue against Hoffenheim as well, we\u2019re still reasonably content in taking FC Koln getting a quarter goal headstart on the handicap ahead of this one.<\/p>\n

Freiburg vs Schalke 04 | Sunday 4\/23 | 8:30am ET<\/h2>\n

Arguably a must win game for both teams this weekend as Schalke 04 occupy the final automatic relegation spot, while Freiburg sit on the cusp of a potential Champions League spot should either team win on Sunday.<\/p>\n

But despite where both teams may sit in the league overall, it\u2019s actually Schalke who are in the better form right now, losing just two of their last eleven league games after a dreadful start to the season, while Freiburg have gone the other way, starting fast on the season but amassing just two wins across their last seven games in all.<\/p>\n

No team has been in worse form data wise than Freiburg have of late, with the southern-based club generating just 3.22 xPTS across their last five starts, by far the lowest expected return out of any team in the league across that stretch.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re happy to side with Schalke to avoid another defeat in this one.<\/p>\n
