Minnesota Wild vs Vegas Golden Knights Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Vegas Golden Knights are almost at the summit of capturing the #1 spot in the West as they travel to Saint Paul for a home-and-home situation against the Minnesota Wild on Monday.<\/p>\n

These two teams met on Saturday over in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas also, with the Golden Knights easing to a comfortable 4-1 victory courtesy of a fantastic effort from Vegas goalie Laurent Brossoit who saved 29-of-30 shots against the Wild for a .967 SV% average.<\/p>\n

This will be the third and final meeting between the two sides this season after Vegas took both of the opening two games of the series by a combined 9-2 margin.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s been pretty much par for the course going back to last season and beyond also, with Vegas winning five of their last six head-to-head matchups against Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Going On The Road No Issue For Vegas<\/h3>\n

Going on the road tonight to Saint-Paul should present absolutely no challenges for this Vegas Golden Knights team who have actually posted a better overall record away from home this season than they have in Vegas.<\/p>\n

The Golden Knights are 24-7-6 on the road this season and those numbers haven\u2019t let up of late either, with Vegas winning seven of their last eight games away from home heading into Monday\u2019s matchup.<\/p>\n

Things Becoming Increasingly Tight In The West<\/h3>\n

Minnesota sit just one point above the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche in the race for positioning over in the West.<\/p>\n

However, Colorado has a game in hand over the Wild with seven games to finish out the season as opposed to Dallas\u2019s and Vegas\u2019 six, so a win on Monday night definitely rates in the essential category for Minnesota.<\/p>\n

The good news for the Wild however is that they rank as the 3rd best defensive team in the league this season, and have gone an impressive 24-11-3 at home this year as well.<\/p>\n

Minnesota Wild vs Vegas Golden Knights Expert Prediction<\/h2>\n

While both of these teams have shown themselves to be defensively astute this season, both ranking top eight in the league in opponent shot conversion percentage for example, we\u2019re expecting this one to be a slightly higher-scoring affair when they meet again on Monday.<\/p>\n

Despite their solid defenses, both Vegas and Minnesota rank top seven in the league in terms of high-danger shot conversion percentage in offense also, with Minnesota netting an average of 4.33 goals per game across their last three home starts as well.<\/p>\n

The Over has gone 15-7 in Vegas\u2019 last 22 games in a second of a home-and-home situation, and we\u2019re expecting that to continue here on Monday also with another Over between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Minnesota Wild in Saint Paul.<\/p>\n
