The Phoenix Suns wrap up a three game road trip in Sacramento with a Western Conference clash against the Kings on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The Kings lost their second straight game 132-109 at home to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. The Suns are coming off an upsetting 122-111 loss on the road to the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/p>\n

This will be the fourth and final game in a regular season series that Phoenix leads 2-1 after losing at home 128-119 on March 11th. Tip-off is slated for 10:00 PM EST\/7:00 PST from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.<\/p>\n

The Kings Of Scoring<\/h3>\n

The Sacramento Kings fell to 43-29 on the season after losing to the Celtics on Wednesday. Boston dominated the interior with a 56-38 points in the paint advantage.<\/p>\n

De’Aaron Fox led his team in scoring with 18 points on 6-11 from the field. Domantas Sabonis recorded a 16 point, 13 rebound & 12 assist double-double while Keegan Murray chipped in with 15 points and 5 rebounds.<\/p>\n

The Kings have slipped to the 3rd seed in the Western Conference, two games behind the 1second place Grizzlies and 5.5 games behind the first place Nuggets.<\/p>\n

Sacramento is hands down the best offense in the NBA as they rank #1 in scoring with 120.9 points a game on the leagues second best shooting percentage of 49.7%.<\/p>\n

Defense has been a completely different story as the Kings sit at 26th in defensive rating and 28th in defensive scoring with 118.5 points allowed per game. Kevin Huerter is listed as questionable with a knee injury and is the only player listed on the current injury report.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sun Setting Quickly<\/h3>\n

The Phoenix Suns slipped to 38-34 on the season after losing their fifth game in six tries against the Lakers on Wednesday. Free throws may have been the difference as the Suns shot only 15-20 for 75% while Los Angeles shot 36-46 for 78%.<\/p>\n

Devin Booker led all scorers with 33 points on 11-16 from the field. Chris Paul added 18 points and 4 assists while Landry Shamet chipped in with 15 points off the bench.<\/p>\n

Phoenix currently occupies the 4th seed in the Western Conference, 10.5 games behind the first place Nuggets and two games from dipping into the play-in tournament. The Suns rank 18th in scoring with 113.3 points a game on 46.7% shooting.<\/p>\n

Defense has been their calling card as they sit at 8th in defensive rating and 4th in defensive scoring with only 111.8 points allowed per game. De’Andre Ayton will join Kevin Durant on the bench with a hip injury that has already cost him time.<\/p>\n

The Sacramento Kings enter this contest as 4 point home favorites with a total set at 239.5. This is a huge game for the Suns as they attempt to secure a first round home series in the playoffs.<\/p>\n

The Kings seem destined for the three seed as the distance grows between the third & fifth seed. Phoenix has a solid 6-3 SU record in their last nine games against the Kings and they are 5-1 SU in their last six at the Golden 1 Center.<\/p>\n
