The Washington Wizards visit the Amway Center for an Eastern Conference clash with the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night. The Magic ended a four game road trip 1-3 after losing to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The Wizards lost their second straight game 132-118 at home against the Sacramento Kings. This will be the third of four games in a regular season series that Washington leads 2-0 after picking up victory at home and on the road. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM\/4:00 PST.<\/p>\n
\nWizards Have Sights Set On Final Playoff<\/h3>\n
The Washington Wizards slipped to 32-39 on the season after losing to the Kings on Saturday. Long distance shooting proved to be the difference as Sacramento shot 22-37 for 59.5% from beyond the arc while Washington shot only 13-36 for 36%.<\/p>\n
Kyle Kuzma led all scorers with 33 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Bradley Beal added 20 points and Corey Kispert chipped in with 13 points.<\/p>\n
The Wizards currently occupy the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference, two games behind the 10th seeded Chicago Bulls. Washington ranks 23rd in scoring with only 112.8 points a game on 48.5% from the field.<\/p>\n
They also sit at 22nd in defensive rating and 16th in defensive scoring with 113.5 points allowed per game. Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out for this contest with an ankle injury and is the only player listed on the current report.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Magic In No Man’s Land<\/h3>\n
The Orlando Magic fell to 29-43 on the season after losing their 6th game in eight tries against the Lakers.<\/p>\n
Los Angeles dominated the glass with a 52-44 rebounding edge. Pablo Banchero had 21 points and 6 rebounds while Franz Wagner scored 21 points with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.<\/p>\n
Wendell Carter had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds as did Markelle Fultz with 12 points and 10 assists. Orlando currently occupies the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference, now 5.5 games short of the play-in tournament.<\/p>\n
The Magic rank 26th in scoring with only 111.5 points a game on 47% shooting. They sit at 19th in defensive rating and 17th in defensive scoring with 114.4 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n
Jalen Suggs is the only player listed on the current injury report and he has been ruled out with a concussion.<\/p>\n

This game is a virtual pick’em with the Washington Wizards favored by only 1 point with a total set at 225.5.<\/p>\n
This is a showdown between two teams that sit very closely to each other in the standings but the Magic may be starting to lose hope. However the Magic are basically healthy while the Wizards are missing one of their top players in Kyke Kuzma.<\/p>\n
Washington beat Orlando by 20 & 19 points but Kuzma scored 25 & 23 points in those games. Without Kuzma, the Magic are the deeper team as only Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis average more than 10 points in a game.<\/p>\n
