Toronto Maple Leafs vs Colorado Avalanche Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

Two teams in some decidedly patchy form clash in the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Wednesday with both teams coming off recent 3-3 splits across their last six games respectively.<\/p>\n

Colorado do however come in off three wins from their last four games overall and put eight goals past the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night also, so they’ll no doubt look to continue that offensive output heading into Wednesday\u2019s game as well.<\/p>\n

Toronto meanwhile had won back-to-back games before losing to Buffalo 4-3 on Monday. Toronto held a two-goal advantage early in that game before Buffalo responded in emphatic fashion by putting the next four past the Leafs, three of which came within an eight-minute span in the third period alone.<\/p>\n

This will be the second and final meeting between the two teams this season after Toronto took game one 6-2 over in Colorado back at the end of December.<\/p>\n

Colorado Limiting Scoring Chances<\/h3>\n

Only the Carolina Hurricanes have allowed fewer total scoring chances at the back than the Colorado Avalanche have this season with solid performances from Alexandar Georgiev and Pavel Francouz bolstering those defensive numbers for the Avalanche as well.<\/p>\n

On top of that, the Avalanche are also allowing the 3rd lowest opponent high-danger scoring percentage this season at just 7.8% on average.<\/p>\n

Leafs Red-Hot From Power Plays<\/h3>\n

While the Toronto Maple Leafs have been a solid offensive scoring team all season, ranking 8th in the league overall with a 3.42 GPG average, it\u2019s been in their power play production especially where the Leafs have been at their most dangerous.<\/p>\n

Toronto ranks 2nd in the league in offensive power-play production this year, right behind the Edmonton Oilers, and they also netted two power-play goals in their last home win against the aforementioned Oilers as well.<\/p>\n

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Colorado Avalanche Expert Prediction<\/h2>\n

We\u2019re looking towards goals in this one on Wednesday with both teams being so short-handed on the defensive end and with both teams also being so dangerous going forward.<\/p>\n

Despite highlighting Colorado\u2019s impressive defensive numbers previously, their offense has also been getting it done this season, ranking top ten in the league in total shots, power play percentage, and high-danger conversion percentage this year also.<\/p>\n

The Over has gone 12-3-1 in the last 16 meetings between the two sides and we\u2019re expecting another high-scoring affair here on Wednesday also.<\/p>\n

Take the Over 6.5 goals on Wednesday in the matchup between the Avalanche and the Maple Leafs over in Toronto.<\/p>\n
