Dallas Mavericks vs Memphis Grizzlies Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The lineups on these two teams are certainly tough to handicap these days as Durant is out, and Draymond Green is questionable tonight.<\/p>\n

It looks like he\u2019ll play so I\u2019ll handicap this game as if he\u2019s playing, with Wiggins still out for Golden State. Think the value in this game is actually in the props so here are my best prop bets tonight.<\/p>\n

Messy Mavericks<\/h3>\n

A lack of defense was plaguing Dallas after the Kyrie trade, but now they\u2019ve added injuries to their two studs as an even bigger concern.<\/p>\n

Dallas is 3-8 their last 11 games with two wins being against Utah and San Antonio and after losing to the Grizzlies who have been struggling without Ja Morant, this team has to be close to panicking.<\/p>\n

They are the #8 seed, but are only a couple games away from being the 12 or 13 seed. They had good contributions from Hardaway, Green and Hardy on Saturday, but only scoring 108 won\u2019t get it done against Memphis.<\/p>\n

Dallas is the 4th worst defensive team at home, so they\u2019ll have to play way above average tonight to get the win.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Grizzlies Great Schedule<\/h3>\n

They don\u2019t have Ja Morant, but the schedule Gods are apparently on their side. They get two games without Luka and Kyrie, and coming up they have games against the Spurs, Mavericks again, and the Rockets twice.<\/p>\n

They are pretty safely locked into the #3 or #2 seed depending on what Sacramento does so they certainly don\u2019t have the pressure that Dallas has tonight.<\/p>\n

They are 2-2 without Morant, but their defense has been pretty solid the last three games holding teams to 112, 110 and 108.<\/p>\n

Bane had a big game on Saturday as did Roddy coming off the bench, and scoring 24 points. Can they repeat tonight and get another win?<\/p>\n

Dallas Mavericks vs Memphis Grizzlies Expert Prediction<\/h2>\n

I\u2019ve not been a fan of this Dallas team since the trade, and I\u2019m certainly not a fan now so I\u2019ll take Memphis to win again. They won by four despite a horrible shooting night from Jaren Jackson and Tyus Jones who went 1-10 from threes.<\/p>\n

Dallas doesn\u2019t have the firepower on offense without Luka and Kyrie as none of these guys are pure shot creators, and if this game is close at the end it\u2019s a big advantage for Memphis as this team knows how to play together and they have guys who aren\u2019t scared of clutch shots.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t see advantages anywhere for Dallas, it will take a monster effort and some surprise performances to pull off the win, and at a game that\u2019s basically a pick em, I\u2019ll keep fading Dallas.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Memphis Grizzlies -1.5<\/strong><\/p>\n
