Bayern vs PSG Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

French giants PSG travel over to the Allianz Arena in Munich on Wednesday looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg against rivals Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n

Former PSG player Kingsley Coman proved the difference maker in that opening game with his 53rd-minute strike for the visitors giving Bayern the advantage here heading into leg two.<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich have enjoyed the better of it over recent meetings against PSG in Europe, winning five of their last six outright against the Parisian giants.<\/p>\n

However, Bayern can\u2019t take this lead for granted either as in that one loss they did suffer, it came in this very venue two seasons ago and was enough to knock them out of the Champions League.<\/p>\n

PSG Responds Well<\/h3>\n

Despite their setback in leg one against Bayern Munich, PSG responded well, winning all of their three subsequent games in French Ligue 1 and scoring 11 goals in the process.<\/p>\n

However, with both Achraf Hakimi and Neymar likely unavailable for this game, it does put added pressure on PSG ahead of this one as Christophe Galtier likely switches to his preferred 3-5-2 formation to give the French team some added options in attack.<\/p>\n

Bayern Look Towards Another Title-Winning Season<\/h3>\n

With a perfect seven wins from seven games in the Champions League so far, Julian Nagelsmann will be looking to repeat the same feat Bayern managed the last time they got off to a perfect start in Europe, namely lifting the Champions League crown as they did back in the 2019\/20 season.<\/p>\n

In pursuit of that, Bayern have been absolutely ruthless this season, averaging both the highest number of offensive shots per game in the Champions League and ranking as the only team yet to allow a single goal at home either.<\/p>\n

Bayern vs PSG Expert Prediction<\/h2>\n

With some major absences to his lineup, Christophe Galtier will likely opt to change his formation here and put PSG more on the offensive foot, a style in which they remain one of the most potent attacking forces on the planet with both Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe leading the charge.<\/p>\n

However, that leaves them vulnerable defensively, a trade-off they may be willing to live with, and Bayern should be able to expose that offense-heavy mindset of PSG in this one, with Bayern scoring at least two goals in all of their last four Champions League matches in this venue against PSG.<\/p>\n

Bayern also haven\u2019t been as effective at home this season in the Champions League despite their defensive record.<\/p>\n

Their expected goal differential has been a lot higher on the road, so expect PSG to find some success in this one in what should be a thrilling back and forth encounter between two heavyweights over in Munich on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Over 3.5 (+105)<\/strong><\/p>\n
