Los Angeles Lakers vs Memphis Grizzlies Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Memphis Grizzlies wrap up a four game road trip in Los Angeles against the Lakers on Tuesday night. The Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors 113-105 at home on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies lost their second straight game 135-129 in the same building against the Clippers. This will be the third and final game of a regular season series that is tied 1-1 after Memphis evened things up with a 121-109 victory on February 28th.<\/p>\n

Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 PM EST\/7:00 PST as the nightcap of a TNT Tuesday night doubleheader.<\/p>\n

Grizzlies Season On The Brink<\/h3>\n

The Memphis Grizzlies fell to 38-25 on the season after losing their second straight game against the Clippers on Sunday. Free throws proved to be the difference as the Clips shot 33-35 for 94.3% from the charity stripe while the Grizzlies went only 11-15 for 73.3%.<\/p>\n

Desmond Bane led his team in scoring with 30 points on 12-22 shooting. Tyus Jones recorded a 25 point, 12 assist double-double while Jaren Jackson Jr chipped in with 24 points and 5 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Ja Morant will remain on the shelf Tuesday after missing the Clippers game due to an investigation surrounding him going live on Instagram with a gun in his hand.<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies still occupy the 2nd seed in the Western Conference but have slipped to a full seven games behind the first place Nuggets. They are also still a top ten scoring team at 9th in scoring with 115.8 points per game.<\/p>\n

On the season, they sit at 3rd in defensive rating and 6th in defensive scoring with only 112 points allowed per game. On top of missing Morant, Memphis is still player without their anchor Steven Adams who has been ruled out with a knee injury.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lakers Look For Second Straight Victory<\/h3>\n

The Los Angeles Lakers improved to 31-34 on the season after beating Golden State on Sunday. They dominated the interior with a 4p-26 edge in points in the paint and 46-42 rebounding advantage.<\/p>\n

Anthony Davis led all scorers with 39 points on 14-25 from the field and 10-13 from the charity stripe. Jared Vanderbilt recorded a 10 point, 13 rebound double-double while Austin Reeves chipped in with 16 points off the bench.<\/p>\n

The Lakers currently occupy the 11th seed in the Western Conference, in a three-way tie for the final play-in spot. They rank 8th in scoring with 116.7 points a game on 47.9% from the field.<\/p>\n

Defense has been a struggle as they sit at 17th in defensive rating but 24th in defensive scoring with 117.6 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

Anthony Davis is probable for this contest while D’Angelo Russell is questionable with a nagging ankle injury. Lebron James and Mo Bamba has both been ruled out.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Lakers vs Memphis Grizzlies Predictions<\/span><\/h2>\n

This game is a virtual pick’em with the Memphis Grizzlies favored by only 1 point with a total set at 224.5. Both sides will be without their superstar as James and Morant will both miss the game for different reasons.<\/p>\n

The Lakers are in hot pursuit of a playoff spot and I’m expecting for them to take advantage of the Grizzlies missing pieces.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles is 5-2 ATS in their last seven games and 3-1 ATS in their last four home games. The absence of Ja Morant is a huge blow for the Memphis offense, the Lakers obviously miss Lebron but Anthony Davis will be the difference maker.<\/p>\n

AD should have a field day in the paint without Steven Adams or Brandon Clarke to contest his shots. The Grizz are only 1-10 SU and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games.<\/p>\n

Considering the spread isn’t really a factor and the struggles of the short-handed Grizzlies on the road, I will back the Lakers to get the job done.<\/p>\n
