Sacramento Kings vs New Orleans Pelicans Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Pelicans play at Sacramento tonight as they are part of a big logjam in the Western Conference for the play-in games as they have 31 wins, and four other teams have 30 or 31 wins as well.<\/p>\n

The Kings are the 3rd seed in the West right now as they are enjoying their best season in well over a decade, and they have a chance at the two seed as they are only one game behind Memphis.<\/p>\n

Pelicans Could Really Use Zion<\/h3>\n

The Zion injury has really ruined a season that looked to be extremely promising, but his durability continues to hurt this team. They are 8-21 straight up since Dec. 31, and have one win in their last six games.<\/p>\n

In February they were 17th in offensive and defensive rating. To compare that to December, the Pelicans were 10th in offensive rating and 6th in defensive rating.<\/p>\n

They are 3-6-1 ATS in their last 10 road games and 4-6 ATS their last 10 overall. They did beat Sacramento a couple of weeks ago 136-104, but De\u2019Aaron Fox did not play in that game and neither did Ingram or Valencuinas.<\/p>\n

New Orleans tends to lose big when they lose outright as their last 11 losses have been by 5 or more which is the margin tonight.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kings Clicking<\/h3>\n

Sacramento had all the pieces coming into the season, but it was difficult to see them performing this well based on this franchise’s history, but they have over delivered this season.<\/p>\n

They are already over their win total for the season, and they are the #1 offensive rated team the last 15 games. Unfortunately for them, they are the 28th rated defensive team in those same 15 games, but they are 10-5 straight up.<\/p>\n

They aren\u2019t a great ATS team this season as they are 34-29, and they are slightly below .500 at home ATS.<\/p>\n

They have been a good over team as they are 21-11 at home this season and 7-3 their last 10 home games to the over. De\u2019Aaron Fox is questionable tonight, but my guess is that he plays as he\u2019s done so the last few games.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t like this matchup for the Pelicans tonight as I don\u2019t think they have the firepower to keep up scoring with Sacramento.<\/p>\n

Sacramento has scored 123 or more in six straight, and New Orleans hasn\u2019t gotten to 123 points in nine straight games. The wind seems to be out of the sails for the Pelicans and it\u2019s a team I can\u2019t back right now.<\/p>\n

When they lose, they lose by five or more so I\u2019ll take Sacramento winning this game by margin and side with the Kings who are in much better form right now.<\/p>\n
