Dallas Mavericks vs Philadelphia 76ers Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The 76ers are on a back to back, but they got the easy win against Miami last night and they sat Embiid last night, which means he probably plays tonight.<\/p>\n

Dallas is a -4 favorite despite their lack of success recently as they\u2019ve lost five out of six with their lone win being against lowly San Antonio.<\/p>\n

Kyrie and Luka Not In The Honeymoon Phase<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s not been a great run for Dallas as they\u2019ve lost to Sacramento, Minney, Denver, LAL, and Indiana and look no further than their defense as the culprit.<\/p>\n

They traded defense for offense in the Kyrie trade and Dallas is 5th worst in defensive rating the last six games. They are 5th best in offensive rating, but it\u2019s not equating to wins. Dallas is 1-4 ATS their last five, and they are 1-3-1 ATS at home their last five home games.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy to see why Philly wanted Embiid for this matchup as Dallas doesn\u2019t have much defense for centers. Miles Turner just went for 24 against them, and Anthony Davis went for 30 the game before that.<\/p>\n

They’ve been clunky at the end of games with Kyrie and Luka struggling to define their roles inside of two minutes, and if they are to win tonight and moving forward, that’s going to have to be fixed immediately.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Philadelphia Sandwich, But Not Cheesesteak<\/h3>\n

This could be looked at like a sandwich game as Philly just took on Miami twice, and they have a showdown with Milwaukee on Saturday, but Embiid getting a game off last night will ensure that he\u2019s close to full strength tonight as he’s dealing with the nagging foot injury.<\/p>\n

Philly has been solid all season and their recent losses are to elite Boston, red hot New York, and rival Miami so they\u2019ve only lost to tough teams.<\/p>\n

They are 11th in offensive rating and 15th in defensive rating the last 15 games, but they have defensive issues on the perimeter as Harden and Maxey can\u2019t slow down mediocre guards, let alone guys like Luka and Kyrie.<\/p>\n

Nothing stands out ATS for Philly, but they are 3-7 O\/U their last 10 games so they\u2019ve been involved in low scoring games.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t see much that jumps out to me for the side or the spread so I\u2019ll look to my trusty player props, and I\u2019ll go to Kyrie Irving over his Rebounds+Assists at 10.5.<\/p>\n

Irving has been really active in both categories, and has had 14 and 16 the last two games, and even before the all-star game he had 11, 14, 13, and 9.<\/p>\n

Dallas doesn\u2019t have a dominant rebounder, and everything that Dallas does will run through Luka and\/or Kyrie so I see another nice performance from Kyrie on the stat sheet.<\/p>\n
