Vancouver Canucks vs Minnesota Wild Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Minnesota Wild have picked up the pace in the Western Conference with six wins from their last seven games overall and now sit right on Dallas\u2019 heels over in the Central Division, a gap they\u2019ll look to close even further with a win on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks.<\/p>\n

Vancouver for their part have won three of their last five games overall, but haven\u2019t fared so well at home of late, picking up just one win across their last four games inside Rogers Arena.<\/p>\n

Minnesota took both meetings against Vancouver earlier this season by a combined 7-3 scoreline, and that\u2019s been pretty much the case over the last couple of seasons as well, with the Wild winning all of their previous five matchups against the Canucks.<\/p>\n

Wild\u2019s Goalie Combo Continues To See Them Grind Out Results<\/h3>\n

While the Minnesota Wild aren\u2019t the league\u2019s most prolific scorers by a long stretch, ranking 26th on scoring offense at 2.79 GPG and 22nd & 23rd respectively on high-danger creation rate and offensive xG also, it\u2019s been their lights-out goaltending that has been their biggest benefit to them this season.<\/p>\n

Filip Gustavsson ranks 4th in the league this year on both goals against average and save percentage also, while Marc-Andre Fleury ranks inside the top 15 in number of quality starts this season as well.<\/p>\n

Canucks On Fire In Front Of Nets<\/h3>\n

One team that might test those nets tonight for the Wild however are the Vancouver Canucks who have been absolutely lethal in front of goals this season.<\/p>\n

No team has a higher high-danger conversion percentage inside the slot area this season than the Canucks currently do, with Vancouver boasting a massive 12.8% conversion percentage in that category, by far and away the highest percentage out of any team in the league this year.<\/p>\n

Vancouver Canucks vs Minnesota Wild Expert Prediction<\/h2>\n

Marc-Andre Fleury is listed in nets (at time of writing) for the Minnesota Wild tonight, and while he\u2019s been reasonably solid overall this season.<\/p>\n

He definitely has faced issues against the more offensive-minded teams in the league, and that could be a dangerous aspect tonight going up against this explosive Vancouver Canucks attack.<\/p>\n

Fleury comes off back-to-back games facing one of the weakest offensive teams in the league in the Columbus Blue Jackets, but over 2023 has given up at least 5 goals against the Buffalo Sabres, Carolina Hurricanes, and Vegas Golden Knights.<\/p>\n

All teams with a far lower high-danger shot conversion percentage than the Vancouver Canucks have this year.<\/p>\n

The Wild should be favored in this one, but not by as much as the current line suggests, and we believe the Vancouver Canucks offer the value side in this one tonight against the Minnesota Wild.<\/p>\n
